"Be Tire Smart - Play Your PART" program is used to educate motorists about the importance of
proper tire care and promote a safer driving experience. PART stands for pressure, alignment,
rotation and tread, the four key elements of tire care. The program was designed by the tire
industry through the Rubber Manufacturers Association in the U.S. and the Rubber Association in
Canada. Through partnerships, media outreach and consumer literature, the program has reached
tens of million of motorists in both the U.S. and Canada.
